Chapter Two — Under Glass
A website nobody visits is just a very quiet room.
Chapter Three — First Light
Then someone turns the light on.
Chapter Four — The Run
One by one, they open.
Chapter Five — Full Sun
Let's grow yours.
01 — The problem
Most small business websites aren't bad. They're asleep.
Built once, in a hurry, some years ago. Slow to load on a phone. Invisible on Google. Still listing hours that changed two summers back, and a form that quietly stopped sending email in a plugin update nobody noticed.
That isn't a design problem. It's a neglect problem — and it costs you every customer who looked you up at nine at night, waited four seconds, and went back to the search results to pick somebody else.
We do two things about it. We build new sites for businesses that need a real one, and we rescue the sites that are already there and just need waking up. Then, if you want, we keep them alive.
The website is usually the only part of a small business that never gets tended. Everything else — the shopfront, the van, the sign — gets painted. The site just sits there getting older.

02 — What we do
Three ways in.
01
New BuildFrom nothing to open
You have no site at all, or you have whatever a platform generated for you in ten minutes with a stock photo of a city you've never been to. We build the real thing — designed for your trade, written in your voice, and organised around the one action you actually need a visitor to take.

The RescueYour site, but awake
You already have a site and it mostly works. We keep what's yours and fix what's costing you: the eight-second load, the layout that breaks on a phone, the booking flow with a dead end in it, and the local searches you should be winning and aren't.

TendingIt stays alive
The reason most sites die is that nobody ever touches them again. Monthly care: content and price updates, seasonal changes, uptime monitoring, backups, security patches — and a person who answers when you email, rather than a ticket number.

05 — How it goes
Four steps, no mystery.
01
The Audit
We go through what you have now: load speed, how it behaves on a phone, what you rank for, and the actual path a customer walks to contact you. You get a plain-English report — yours to keep whether or not you hire us.
02
The Plan
One page. What we'd build, what it costs, how long it takes. Fixed price, agreed before anyone starts. No retainer you can't walk away from and no line item called "discovery".
03
The Build
Two to four weeks for most projects. You watch it happen on a private link and nothing goes live that you haven't stood in front of. We write the words too, if writing them is the thing that's been stopping you.
04
The Tending
We keep it alive month to month, or we hand you the keys and show you how to drive it. Your choice, and it is genuinely fine either way — a site you can update yourself is a site that stays awake.
06 — Start here
Let's grow yours.
Tell us about your business and where you're starting from — an ageing site that needs waking up, or nothing at all yet. We'll come back within two working days with what we'd build, what it would cost, and how long it would take.
Fixed prices, agreed before anyone starts. No call required, and no retainer you can't walk away from.
